Not that we get to do a lot of napping around here... in fact, except for when I was down for the count with the back thing, I can't remember having a nap since the babies were little. But still.
Don't you think everyone deserves to have a spot like this outside somewhere so they could nap at some point? I think picturing this spot is my new happy place.
It was originally pinned from The Paper Mulberry, but the actual post wasn't pinned, so we get a little bit lost after that. The Paper Mulberry 'porch' section is worth a look... a very lovely country-livin' style blog.
Visit The Paper Mulberry or click on the image to see the pin!
Have you now got a hankering to lie down somewhere, stat?

Outdoor napping seems dangerous to me, all I think of is sleeping for hours and getting sunburnt to a crisp! However, outdoor basking is my new current thing. I am currently outdoors with two chairs together, one for me and one for my feet and a little stool next to me as a table. Winter sunshine is such a glorious thing! I really need to get me a recliner so I can do it even more comfortably, although then the napping danger might be more inclined to set in...
Like nothing else. Baby no. 2 is delicious and happy all day but at 9 months, still wakes at 10pm, 1am, 4am and starts her day at 5.30am. Bright as a button. Me - cactus.
Oh my gosh! Can you just imagine being a lady of leisure without any small people and laying down in that spot with a book and a lovely cup of tea and no-one making any demands on you at all!!?? I am blissed out just thinking about it!
I could nap daily if I was allowed in fact I think I nap as much as possible now, knowing that when I have kids it will become a forgotten luxury! x
Oh I love a sweet afternoon nap. This spot looks perfect for just that.
I never get under the blankets of my bed when napping (provided the bed is made). The husband tells me that odd, but I think not.
hmmm. Thoughts?

I used to be a champion napper...and then Baby C came along.
No more naps for me!
But if I had time to nap I would love to do it in a lovely little nook like that one!
Well I've never met a daybed arrangement I didn't love, and this looks just about perfect to me! Love it.
Oh, I love a nap! As I read this I've only just got out of bed - and now I already want a nap ;)
A nap a day would be just perfect! I did 7am school drop-off today, and it's all go here. There's nothing about a day bed I don't love. xx
Dreamy just looking at that space, love Posie
I can't nap. It makes me feel sick and headachey.
Which sucks cause I dream of a space like this to nap in!
Napping - if left to my own devices I could do it just about anywhere. I swear I once nealy fell asleep on the quad curl machine at the gym. I dont know why my 2 year old is so resistant to the whole nap concept. If somebody put my under a blanky and ordered me to go to sleep I would say "Oh thankyou God!".
Happy napping.
oh I like that! what a nice space
This nap spot is just sweet, fresh and shady. In a word, perfect! I was never really fond of afternoon naps before as I used to stay up all night reading and working, sleep when the sun comes out and wake up in the afternoons. But that's all changed now. I treasure every nap time I can get.
