A while ago I noticed that my 'Home Life' Pinboard was pretty much all neutrals. I am an appalling embracer of a white-grey-beige-black with the occasional muted colour pallet. I vowed to shuck off the neutral and embrace colour instead, so I created my 'Colour My World' board.
It will come as no surprise to learn that, except for an occasional lapse into hot swirly brights, the 'Colour My World' board looks pretty much the same as the 'Home Life' board. We are who we are, people.
Instead, for this board I look for a pop of colour that is either a little bit clashy or entirely unexpected. I liked this arrangement by Charlotte Love. The soft aqua of the chair top against the pink wash of the curtain is very pleasing I think.

Bit like you Bron. I like calming tones of white, cream, soft browns... But I do love occasional splashes of blues and greens. I love that chair too. I see these chairs all the time in garage sales. Now there's an idea....
ooh yes, these colours are so delicious together! I am colour all the way, perhaps some would say too much.. but I just couldn't imagine life without it. when I see those all white houses in magazines I just keep turning the pages, before I fall asleep! ;) it's funny, with your personality I would have picked you for a colour girl! x
oooh this is a toughie, because I think i'm like you....so bold in "saying" I'll do colour, but when i look around I'm surrounded by beige, brown, timber and white! oh dear! But Love love love that chair! xx
I love neutrals a lot but I think I love colour more. When I showed our painter the interior wall colours I wanted he said, "Listen love, we've just painted a pre-school and they were less colourful than your house!" He did it anyway and then after we moved in I grabbed a paintbrush and slapped a little more colour around the place. Love it. That chair is gorgeous.
Is getting more colour in but as I use to be brown, latte and chocolate with cream it is a slow process ans I can't just chuck it all out and start again.. Much as I would like to do so xx

Oh, I love this chair! It is part of a set and the others are yellow, pink and other pretties. So beautiful!
