Pantone 394

It's just a colour, but it's so much more. Colour often is.

You know all those boring grey days I was having last week? Well, in the midst of them - sunshine. Brilliant, shiny light-up-your-heart sunshine came bursting through my letterbox in the form of Pantone 394 and Kate.

Dear Kate.

Your 100 Pantone postcards project made my grey days shine.

Pantone 394 is a very greeny yellow. Lurid. You would never paint your bedroom Pantone 394, but it would be the perfect colour to paint your face, 394 days of the year.

What's your favourite colour?

That Kate is a beautiful woman. And that is a gorgeous colour. x

Great project
This is not my colour at all...maybe for kids chairs in the cubby house where I rarely see it
I'm a blue girl. Or red. Or sometimes pink.

I'm not sure what I love more, the colours or the colour cards with the word Pantone (and it's little trademark"R"). I think I just love it all.

I am so glad your days shone. x

P.S. this project has made me realise I don't have a favourite colour. I wouldn't choose this colour for anything other than as an antidote to greyness! Or maybe a bookshelf in a kid's room?!

Love this! And because I design brochures for a living, I can tell you, I ONLY think in Pantone colours.

This one's a beauty. xx

I adore you both & this colour is not usually my kind of thing but I love a bit of brightness to add metaphorical sunshine. I love that this brightened up your day. My favourite colour is that gorgeous Nigella-style duck egg blue. ps.your comment today over at my "who the hell am I post?" made me stand taller? thank you for your kindness. x

My daughter has nail polish that colour. It is totally lurid!

My favourite colour all depends on whether it is for clothing or linen or walls or lipstick...

Generally I would say purple or red though.

Red or cream and black (together as I love the contrast), pink but it has to be the just the right shade.
Mustard would never rate on my list!

Living in Minnesota, my favorite color is what we miss six months out of 12: green. :-)

You know I would say that I don't like that yellow at all. Except I do, we have some doors that colour down the coast and kitchen units too. Love'am!!

Mine is indeed white but I love the one that made your week. That is all that matters.

I love this project too! Hooray for Maxabella and Kate, two of my fave bloggers. x

I am loving yellow at the moment, probably because of all the grey in the sky, however, my fave colour is blue - light blue, aqua, turquoise, duck egg blue, and everything in between x

I love Kate's Pantone project too - so lovely! Pantone 394 is definitely a bit lurid - not for everyday use!!

Me, I am a Pantone 327 girl these days. That's a lovely teal colour for those playing along at home :)

thanks for the link, what an awesome project, 394 is definitely not a colour for me. I'm fickle with my favourite but keep coming back to blue.

I do love a bit of yellow, but I'm more of a mustard girl. Loving neon pink right now though. That'll brighten up the darkest of days! x
