My blog has gone on some kind of weird binge
and eaten many of my posts.
I can’t get them back.
My ground-breakingly brilliant* musings on Facebook, summer,
body parts and kindness are lost forever. My life-changing post on... that dog thing may
never see the light of day.
The crowds gasp, a small boy weeps...
Normal transmission will resume with Grateful tomorrow...

I know exactly what you're talking about, they're not gone, just invisible. The first few posts of each month vanish for me :(
Go to your first post that turned up, and post the links to the posts that have vanished there - that's what I did/do.

Yes, it happened to me a few weeks ago. One whole post just gobbled up completely. Lost forever. I had to do the whole bloody thing again. Very frustrating!! Pretty envelopes though :-)

Sorry I have no idea how I can help but I subscribe to my own blog and keep all of my blog posts in an email folder for this very reason. This way I always have a copy of them. Hope you can find them or they come back. N x

Oh no, they might come back but sheesh, annoying!! I'm terrified about upgrading my blog for fear of losing so much - not my thoughts but the children's images & stories, kind of hoping Blogger would be there when they are my age?? I'll wait for my husband to touch anything IT related, eeekkk.

But I have never thought about what I should do to back up my blog...

AAarrrggghhh.... have you been hacked. I MUST get a grip and start backing up my new one. My author one is backed up by the hosting hosts which is great... well, I hope and pray it is. Lots of blogs seem to be getting hacked. A new mum at school says we all need 7 types of security... we're going for a long coffee next week to discuss!!
